TheGrand Rapids, MIlocation is currently seeking a Service & Repair Sales Representative to be responsible for the profitable sales of service & repair contracts on a full line of vertical transportation equipment manufactured by TKE and its competitors. Some job duties include: the prospecting of existing and inactive accounts and soliciting new accounts to generate profitable, sustainable business; teaming with Operations on project management activities including surveying, estimating, purchasing, invoicing and job status meetings; coordinating with branch personnel, regional & corporate entities, and related vendors to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously; partnering with Operations to ensure quality product turnover from new construction to service maintenance; evaluating contractual conditions, technical specifications, and architectural drawings to prepare detailed project proposals; presenting proposals to developers, consultants and building owners; and responding to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community.

Job Requirements

Skill: A Bachelors degree is required, with an emphasis in Sales, Business and/or Marketing preferred. Prefer at least two (2) years industry-related sales experience, although willing to consider less experience for a Sales Trainee role. The ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, consultants, building management and owners; mechanical aptitude; demonstration of excellent customer service, project management & sales lead generation skills; strong written & oral communication skills; and good computer skills are necessary. Previous elevator industry experience is a plus.
