Compensation: $70,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year

Our client is a world leading Fortune 500 that is presently seeking a Senior Treasury Analyst to join their team. If you are hired for this Senior Treasury Analyst position, you will be responsible for the following: identify, understand, track, and model risk exposures to the company including foreign exchange risk, interest rate risk, commodity price risk and equity price risk; evaluate and recommend hedging strategies which alter/mitigate identified risks; execute, confirm, and settle hedge and spot transactions on behalf of the corporation and its subsidiaries with leading financial institutions, including activity related to inter-company netting systems; learn and apply current & new accounting standards to hedge strategies and assist corporate accounting in the application of these strategies; provide risk management consulting to the companys sales, purchasing, and finance groups for new or existing programs including the incorporation of financial risk analysis into the capital budgeting process; interface with global business units within the company to gather & share information on hedging strategies, hedge positions, and hedge impacts/results; assist in the implementation and use of treasury workstations and its interface with other financial systems; assist the corporate finance staff with the analysis and evaluation of various financing alternatives available to the company and their interaction with risk management; interface daily with financial markets to remain current on economic statistics/news/events which impact the financial markets and the companys economic positions and develop relationships with commercial and investment bank counterparts; assist European finance staff with the inter-company loan process and the hedging activity and other financial risk related issues; create and maintain reports to senior management describing company exposures and hedge transactions and impact of hedging activity as it relates to company performance; and other projects as needed. Job Requirements

Our client is a global leader in their industry and they are presently looking to add a professional to their treasury department. For consideration candidates will need to have 2 plus years experience in the following: treasury markets or trading experience, familiarity with hedging strategies, hedge positions, treasury work stations, a thorough understanding of financial markets and an understanding of commercial and investment bank counterparts, and possess the ability to understand and effectively communicate to senior management the impacts of hedging activity with overall company performance. This position requires candidates to have a bachelors degree or higher in accounting or finance with a preference for candidates possessing either an MBA or CPA.
