Allstate Insurance Company has an excellent career opportunity for a Network LAN Support Analyst based in Farmington Hills, MI. Your knowledge with software and hardware skills will be utilized in this role. The Analyst provides technical support and guidance to employees in our Regional office as well as several remote offices. The Analyst will plan, coordinate, and execute various project initiatives, often in conjunction with teams from Home Office or other field locations. Additionally, the Analyst will have the opportunity to consult with our Allstate Agents regarding their technology needs.Responsibilities include:
Plan, coordinate, and execute rollouts of various platforms to Regional employees and Field Sales Leaders
Maintain data and create reports as necessary to track projects and rollouts
Use enterprise web tools to perform upgrades and redeployments of Regional employee machines
Place Regional equipment orders accurately and in a timely manner
Maintain accurate inventory of all equipment in all Regional locations
Responsible for all regional technology requirements for new, transfer, or terminated employees
3rd level support for Regional users through ATSC ticket handling and escalation
Handle, document, and close all tickets escalated to our queue within the SLAs
Review ticket activity for signs of trends that would indicate a larger problem
Maintain and monitor Regional server availability throughout the year with a goal of 100% availability
Maintain and create Distribution Groups, SharePoints, Share Drives & PublicFolders as needed
Provide support for all wireless devices for Regional users including ordering, installing, documentation, and escalating to ensure maximum productivity for users
Provide support to remote Territorial Sales Offices and Allstate Learning Centers, including support for network printers and all Allstate supported and authorized equipment
Coordinate annual company Reverification for Regional employees
Manage other projects as they arise
Provides technology consultation services to all departments supported by the region
Leads Security efforts regarding Information technology, hardware, software, and data
Occasionally, may be required to assist with on site network related issues
Job Requirements
At least three years of related experience in supporting a networkExcellent hardware and software skills required
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems required
Ability to leverage technical skills in the achievement of team objectives
Excellent spoken and written interpersonal and communication skills required
Ability to operate across multiple projects concurrently and assume the responsibility for the appropriate technical implementation of projects
MS Office 2010 Suite of products and Windows 7 platform proficiency required
Bachelors Degree required
