Senior Financial Analyst at Grand Rapids

Job Description

Responsibilities: Well established manufacturer in the Grand Rapids, Michigan (MI) area is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join its corporate accounting team.Responsibilities include the following:

• Prepares various financial reports; compiles and reviews financial plans and budgets. Ensures compliance with budget allocations
• Performs financial analysis at complex levels including rate of return, depreciation, working capital, investments, budgeting, and financial and expense performance comparisons
• Understands and has experience working with Percentage of Completion Accounting
• Cash flow analysis
• Risk identification, quantification, and mitigation for the portfolio of projects
• Monthly Management reporting both internal and external
• Managing costs to budgets
• Provide a support function to other Controllers, Project Managers, and Engineering
• Support area Vice Presidents and Controller on special ad hoc analysis

Job Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in accounting or finance required
• Minimum 5 to 8 years in manufacturing accounting, working with percentage of completion accounting required
• Strong Excel spreadsheet skills also required
