Quality Engineer - Plastics Commodity at Grand Haven

.Adecco Engineering and Technical has an immediate job opening for an experienced Quality Engineer with a strong background working with plastics for a Contract to Hire opportunity with a leading automotive manufacturer in the Grand Haven, Michigan area. In this position candidate will be developing and maintaining relationships with customers and suppliers to support program management teams. Additionally, the Quality Engineer will develop and implement documentation specific to the program, manage gage builds, component quality, product and process nonconformance issues, develop sample submission packages, implement process improvements, and identify and resolve product non-conformities. Quality Engineer Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Engineering

5 years plastic experience (injection mold preferred)

Program development documentation - AIAG PPAP, Process Flow, Control Plans

Development of sample submission packages

Gage R&R, SPC, Capability studies

GD&T - Tolerancing and Tolerance stack-ups
