How Youll Heal, Connect and Collaborate

Responsible for overseeing and assigning the activities of department personnel engaged in operations of Cardiac Ultrasound Department to ensure timely completion of department procedures. Provides input into development of policies and procedures. Works in collaboration with Department Management and Department Medical Director to promote quality outcomes and efficient departmental operations. Ensures all activities comply with Borgess Medical Center and outside regulatory agency standards, including ICAEL accreditation, monitors supply levels, and equipment maintenance. Performs duties and responsibilities of the Cardiac Sonographer, including participation in procedures either as the sonographer imaging, or as the sonographer assisting the physician.

Wanted: Dedicated, Motivated Professionals

Knowledge of diagnostic cardiac ultrasound at a level normally acquired through one to two years of education in a Cardiac Ultrasound Program. Current RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) registry by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) required. BLS Certification required or obtained within first six months of employment.
