DemandTec Associate Partner at Detroit

IBM Global Business Services (GBS) Application Innovation Services, and IBM Software Group have established a Customer Center of Competence (Customer CoC).

For the new Customer Centric - Optimization Practice we are seeking an experienced sales and solution professional with Business Analytics, Retail and Consumer Products focus to provide sales, solutioning and delivery excellence support to IBM teams in Europe, North America and Growth Markets.

The DemandTec (DT) Associate Partner will do the following:

Business Development and Solution Development :
  • Assist IBM Account Team cross brand (S&D, GBS, SWG, etc) to identify and cultivate potential DemandTec (DT) opportunities with key clients in their respective territories
  • Lead client workshops to help our clients understand the benefits of IBM DT solutions.
  • Lend SME expertise to marketing campaigns, conferences and industry events.
  • Collaborate cross brand, cross geo and with outside vendors to develop innovative and comprehensive solutions for IBM clients.

    Sales Pursuit
  • Provide Industry domain Subject Matter Expertise to assist in developing the proposed technical solution, project plan, and resource estimates
  • Take a leadership role in development of DT sections of the proposal documents, including the technical solution, roles and responsibilities, value proposition, and the cost case
  • Help coordinate the participation of critical IBM Brand resources and third party vendor professionals needed to craft the solution
  • Assume a leadership role in the presentation and explanation the proposed DT solution to the customer

    Delivery
  • Provide part time "on demand" assistance to resolve critical open issues that arise throughout the delivery life cycle
  • Advise the sales pursuit team on IBM assets and accelerators, provide DT leadership where required.

    This role requires regional and global travel; the ability to adapt and travel at short notice is essential.

    Required
    • Bachelors Degree
    • At least 3 years experience in Business Analytics & Optimization projects (with experience in statistics, econometric and forecast models)
    • At least 3 years experience in DemandTec (DT) or similar price optimization solutions
    • At least 2 years experience in defining solution, project roadmap, estimating, determining resource requirements, and defining delivery models
    • At least 3 years experience in delivering services engagements for Trade Marketing, Merchandising, Pricing and Promotions, Markdown, Deal Management, Store allocation & Replenishment
    • At least 3 years experience in driving asset based solutioning and delivery
    • At least 3 years experience in defining selling strategy, deal structure, participating proposal creation, and participating in orals presentation
    • At least 2 years experience in Strong executive presence and managing CXO level relationships
    • Readiness to travel Up to 4 days a week (home on weekends-based on project requirements)
    • English: Fluent


    Preferred
    • Masters Degree
    • At least 5 years experience in Business Analytics & Optimization projects (with experience in statistics, econometric and forecast models)
    • At least 5 years experience in DemandTec (DT) or similar price optimization solutions
    • At least 5 years experience in defining solution, project roadmap, estimating, determining resource requirements, and defining delivery models
    • At least 5 years experience in delivering services engagements for Trade Marketing, Merchandising, Pricing and Promotions, Markdown, Deal Management, Store allocation & Replenishment
    • At least 5 years experience in Knowledge of the customer optimization solutions landscape in the Retail and CP (first), and other collateral consumer industries (telco, media, utilities, transportation, etc
    • At least 5 years experience in driving asset based solutioning and delivery
    • At least 5 years experience in defining selling strategy, deal structure, participating proposal creation, and participating in orals presentation
    • At least 5 years experience in Strong executive presence and managing CXO level relationships
