Job Description
Application SupportResponsibilities
Installs, configures, and maintains application equipment and support application environment.
Determine user needs and incorporate them into the design and overall plan for application support.
Organizes and coordinates the activities associated with installation, deployment, and upgrade of software, hardware and network facilities relating to application environment.
Responsible for acting on existing trouble tickets established in the tracking system.
Receive complex tickets that help desk support and technical support analyst cannot resolve remotely.
Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems.
Documents, tracks and monitors the problem to ensure timely resolution.
Responsible for customer service and end-user training.
Familiar with a variety of the field concept, practices, and procedures.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Works under general supervision; typically reports to a team lead or supervisor/manager.
Requirements
THIS POSITION IS FOR A WINDOWS APPLICATION PACKAGER!!!
Extensive experience using Wise Packaging Studio 8.0
Extensive experience using Flexera Admin Studio
Working knowledge of SCCM 2007
Advanced knowledge VBScript, installshield, and smsscript
Bachelors degree in a related area and five plus years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Demonstrate good ability to organized and coordinate activities associated with all aspects of application packaging requirements, certification and testing.
Demonstrate good ability to identify, research, and resolve technical problems to ensure timely resolution
