Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer - - 2 positions

Job Summary:
Application of Company Standards with external suppliers. Validation of new supplier components and materials on time vs. project milestones. Provide technical expertise for problem solving / incidents created by suppliers.
Job Responsibilities:
Use Corporate Supplier Relationship Management software for all the project components. Respect strictly the Policies and Procedures in the Corporate SQM (Supplier Quality Manual). Raise all technical issues encountered by the suppliers requiring a modification of the drawing, specification or supplier contract. Validate Corrective Actions for incidents created by a supplier (in assigned region of operation). Perform New Supplier and New Component Process Audits. Validate Controlled Shipping requested to a supplier by a Corporate site (in assigned region of operation). Support Group Segment SQA Leader in the preparation of the Top Worst Suppliers meetings when supplier improvement is required. Responsible for the key indicators (in assigned region of operation): Initial Samples (PPAP) approved on time vs. initial project time-line, Red Launches along the probationary period (Stage 6), Supplier Incidents for components in production, Incidents recurrence.
Job Requirements
Required Minimum Experience:
3 years related experience in the manufacturing industry preferably automotive
Education, Knowledge, Skills Required:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related technical field required. Theoretical and practical experience of audits. Wide industry/commodity exposure. Theoretical knowledge and practical experience of quality tools common in the automotive industry (FMEA, PDA, PDCA).
