Your Responsibilities

Engineer responsible for design and development of actuation products supplied to OEMs. Must be capable of utilizing APQP to lead customer application programs from new business acquisition until end of production. Responsibilities include: product design, customer interface, validation testing, participating on manufacturing cross-functional teams, supporting supplier and plant manufacturing process development, and on-going production support. Detailed design activities will include: drawing creation/release/update, generating engineering stackups, developing DFMEAs and DRBFMs, procuring prototype hardware for testing and customer samples, validation plan generation and data analysis, and leading design reviews with customers, manufacturing, and suppliers.

Your competencies and qualifications

*Bachelors degree in Engineering (BSME preferred) or equivalent four year engineering degree.
*Strong knowledge of DRBFM.
*Ability to travel Internationally is required
*Knowledge of manufacturing processes(permanent aluminum casting,machining,stampings and molded plastic components) and knowledge of semi-automated assembly is a plus
*Ability to speak Japanese and/or Spanish is also a plus
