Job Description:

• Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and esthetic design concepts.
• Update carton and label graphics following a new design standards manual
• Create new point-of-purchase display graphics or adapt established designs to new layouts
• Export and file electronic files from Adobe Creative Suite applications
• Modify and correct other designers files for various outputs
• Update files and images on our corporate Sharepoint site
• Modify or create Powerpoint templates and documents
• Generate product or display images using multiple computer software programs
• Review final layouts and suggest improvements as needed.
• Confer with internal customers to discuss and determine layout design.
• Develop graphics and layouts for product illustrations, logos, and presentations.

Required software skills within a Mac environment:

• Adobe Illustrator (CS5 or higher)
• Adobe Photoshop (CS5 or higher)
• Microsoft Powerpoint
• Microsoft Word

Additional desired software skills:

• Adobe After Effect
• Adobe Premier
• Strata or other 3D software

Desired work and character traits:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Interested in traditional (print) design

Experience:

• 1-5 years working experience in graphic design preferred
• BA degree in graphic design preferred
• Experience or education in standard graphics programs within a Mac environment is required, including Adobe Creative Suite (CS5 or higher), Microsoft Office (Power Point).
• Must be interested in traditional (print) design
