The Application Developers role is to have the primary responsibilities of leading/performing the following activities: maintain, diagnose, test, configure set-up and respond to system activity. Provide technical assistance to internal or external users. May be involved in new or complex devices, components, methods or procedures. Resource expected to perform most assignments independently and need minimal technical guidance on new projects. Needs the ability to work within established processes and procedures; able to do problem determination and problem solving. Resource should have work experience as a technical leader. Must have experience interfacing with clients and vendors and utilize Systems Management Process for clients. Resource will be expected to provide input into documentation/operating procedures within their area of expertise or to improve these procedures and/or processes. Demonstrates problem solving expertise resulting in significant contribution to the efforts of the team and management. Additional responsibilities as assigned

Candidate must have the ability to work in the United State without a current or future need for visa sponsorship.

Required

• High School Diploma/GED
• At least 4 years experience in CICS
• At least 3 years experience in JCL
• At least 2 years experience in Technical Leader Role
• Basic knowledge in DB2
• At least 2 years experience in IMS
• Basic knowledge in MQ Series
• Basic knowledge in PL/1
• Basic knowledge in ASSEMBLER
• English: Basic knowledge

Preferred

• Bachelors Degree
• At least 5 years experience in CICS
• At least 4 years experience in JCL
• At least 4 years experience in Technical Leader Role
• At least 4 years experience in DB2
• At least 4 years experience in IMS
• At least 4 years experience in MQ Series
• At least 4 years experience in PL/1
• At least 4 years experience in ASSEMBLER
• English : Intermediate

Note Regarding Travel: The IBM Michigan Delivery Center is an in-bound delivery model where we support our clients from our East Lansing, MI center. Some travel is expected and all candidates must be willing and able to
travel to meet our client needs. Travel is typically related to knowledge transfer and training at the client site and could be several months up front (Monday thru Friday).
