System Architect - SE5-2434 at Warren

Security Clearance: Secret

Required Experience: 12 Years

Required Education Level: Bachelors Degree

Concentration: Computer Science or Electrical Engineering

Support U.S. Army ground system programs in specification and analysis of architectures for on-board electrical/electronic systems.

Essential Job Functions:

Identify principles and practices necessary to describe ground system architectures in a manner that assists in the understanding of the ground systems essence and key properties pertaining to its behavior, composition and evolution.

Develop and promote model-based system engineering practices to support the design, development, and sustainment of ground systems.

Occasional travel maybe required for this position.  Requirements

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. citizenship is required.

Bachelor degree in systems, electrical or software engineering from an accredited college plus twelve years of experience.

Good verbal and written communication skills, ability to work independently and possess the poise and flexibility required to work in a highly dynamic environment.

Experience developing system level models.

Experience in applying systems engineering principles.

Working Knowledge of MS Office products.

Desired Skills:

Knowledge of ISO/IEC 42010 based architecture frameworks

Experience using a SysML modeling tool such as Artisan Studio, MagicDraw or Rhapsody

Knowledge of the Department of Defense Acquisition Life Cycle, DoD 5000.

Experience in development of DoDAF artifacts

Experience with military C4ISR architectures.
