Area group leader at New Boston

Experience working in automotive industry.
Formulate manufacturing plans and budgets in line with estimated market requirements,ensure production capacity, equipment and labor are available and utilized.
Work with the customer team to support the effective introduction of new product lines.
Determine and negotiate cost and performance targets, monitor outcome and costs to achieve budget targets.
Participate in the definition and realization of strategic targets.
Control production in order to meet programmed delivery dates and optimize waste, down time and stock levels.
Monitor process equipment to identify potential errors and develop solutions to eliminate the reoccurrence of the problems.
Designs and conducts plant trials to determine performance capabilities.
Monitor production and unit costs, facilitate cost reduction measures in respect to product and production together with other managers, suppliers and customers.
Implement and measure company and product quality targets and standards.

Recruit, train, develop and appraise the people required, both in number and quality, to meet present and future needs.
Design methods for maintaining or increasing production levels while improving production costs, yields, quality, and safety.
Identifies potential and then supports the professional development of assigned personnel.
Ensure safety, quality, productivity and profitability of the seat assembly

Working hours: 8am-5pm

Skills:
4 year technical degree in addtion to 5-6 years automotive seat assembly experience . Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Works well in a team environment with good communication skills.

The individual will report to production manager.
