Mandatory Skills*
"1.8+ years of manufacturing experience (Automotive preferred)
2. Familiarity with different forging process, tooling and manufacturing process thru forging
3. Analyze detailed 2D drawings, 3D digital models - GD&T, understand Form, Fit & Function, Machining requirements, Surface treatements
4. Determine cost estimates for manufacturing to include cost of labor, required equipment, materials, and any other costs
5. Experience in using any of the Cost modeling tools - Costimator, aPriori, DFMA (added advantage)
6. Experience in performing Time study, Preparation of Process data sheets"
Preferred Skills*
" Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing to co-workers and suppliers
Familiarity with CAD systems preferred (Catia, SolidWorks, etc). For viewing 3D models.
strong working knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel.
Strong conceptual estimating comprehension and analytical skills.
Ability to work to specifications with extremely high attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Self managing and require minimum supervision.
