Java Developer - Oracle, Sybase, SQL at Detroit

Kforce is looking for Java Developers for several clients in the Detroit, Michigan (MI) area. The Java Developer creates and supports Web-based Java applications, Web Services, and Web interfaces.

Other Responsibilities include:

• Server-side component design, detailed technical design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance


• Reviewing and understanding business requirements working with cross-functional teams


• Developing and enhancing product offerings in accordance with design and consistent with business objectives


• Ensuring that development tasks are completed within the timeline provided and that issues are fully tested with minimal defects

The successful applicant will possess the following requirements (required unless noted otherwise):

• Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering or Math


• 2+ years of experience working in the IT field


• Strong Java or J2EE skills


• Experience with WebLogic


• One of the following RDBMS: Oracle, Sybase or SQL Server


• Knowledge of SOA or Rest


• Spring, Struts or Hibernate


• Must work well with teams
