Speech Pathologist

 NOTICE OF INTENT TO EMPLOY POSITION:  Speech Pathologist QUALIFICATIONS:  Possession of a Masters Degree or better in Speech Language Pathology and current ASHA certification (CCC).  Clinical Fellowship considered (CF) with supervision available.    REPORTS TO: Principal/Assistant Principal of Wesley School ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  1.  Develops individualized communication programs for students utilizing spoken language and augmentative and alternative communication systems and provides supports to students and staff through a tiered model of service delivery.2.  Implements directly, trains and supervises other staff in the implementation and monitoring of communication programs utilizing spoken language and augmentative and alternative communication systems and assessment tools.3.  Provides resources, staff development/training activities, and consultation services to staff, other professionals, parents, guardians and caregivers to support communication programs for students utilizing spoken language and augmentative and alternative communication systems.4.  Works with the Teacher Consultant for Augmentative Communication in assessing and developing communication programs for students utilizing augmentative and alternative communication systems. STARTING DATE:  Approximately October 16, 2012 TERMS:  This is a full-time, 205 days-per-year position with full benefits (Days per master agreement). WAGE RANGE:  Commensurate with level of education and experience. APPLY TO:    Please provide a letter of interest, current resume and credentials online at
