What you need for this position:

-Bachelor Degree in Computer Science
-Ability to install, configure and provide support to Progress Relational Databases
-Understanding of database design/architecture in a UNIX environment
-Exceptional knowledge of performance optimization, clustering and replication
-Experience with Data Modeling, query design and stored procedures
- 4GL Coding Skills
- Experience in working with large data sets and understand models effectively

What youll be doing:

-Work closely with development teams and be responsible for physical database design and implementation
-Write complex Stored Procedures
-Enhance database applications in an ever changing environment
-Perform code and design reviews
-Meet with management on a regular basis to ensure satisfaction with the data collection, presentation, and other efforts
