Tier one assembly supplier has an immediate direct hire need for a Process Engineer.
Candidate MUST have a technical bachelor degree...
Will be responsible for:
Tool engineering (tool selection, bids, quotes) and working with suppliers to design tools
Process improvement. Improving currently assembly process and supporting current production. This plant is a JIT / sequenced plant
Ideal candidate would have a six sigma belt (green or black preferred). If not, any other formal problem solving training (like Shainin) would be acceptable
There will be a 2-step interview process and the position is open to backfill an employee who is getting promoted internally.
