VSAS Engineer

Kelly Service???s client, a leader in the Automotive Industry, is actively seeking a Vehicle Synthesis and Simulation Engineer assemble and run full system model NVH assessments.

** Work location is flexible

Product Engineering - VSAS Lead Engineer



Assemble Full System Models for N&V assessment.



Run Standard work to assess N&V performance, Root Cause Issues and recommend solutions.

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:

-Analysis

-Participates in the selection of new employees

-Trains, develops and evaluates employees

-Develops and coordinates timing of product design programs

-Provides technical support for solving assembly plant problems

-Conducts engineering activities for pilot line programs

-Conducts engineering activities for model year start of production programs

-Evaluates design proposals

-Coordinates overall engineering activities with other departments and/or divisions

-Initiates and evaluates cost studies

-Coordinates with vendors and/or customers

-Writes technical reports and proposals

-Reviews legislative and regulatory proposals or actions to determine impact on projects

Required Skills/Experience:

-Ability to work well with others, exhibiting teamwork skills

-Partners with senior management to analyze and solve issues

-Ability to multitask by handling diverse assignments concurrently

-Expert knowledge of linear systems

-Strong knowledge of major systems (i.e., engine)

-Strong ability in all aspects of experimental test techniques, including analytical, physical subjective evaluation of components under investigation

-Expert demonstrated knowledge of engineering theory and principles of design

-Strong knowledge of test engineering, manufacturing processes and assembly operations

-Thorough understanding of relationship of design, build, test cycles in organization

-Position related experience - 10 years

-Relevant auto industry experience required ??? 4-6 years

-Areas of expertise include: Body, Chassis and Powertrain
