Java Architect Detroit, MIDuration:12+monthsProject Overview:Our client is one of the nations leading pharmacy benefit management (PBM) and retail pharmacy companies, with net revenue of approximately $37 billion annually.The candidate will analyze performance, scalability, and stability issues with the application along with providing long-term and short-term recommendations to improve the stability and scalability of the application. Job Duties:

• Analyze the application using a top-down methodology to identify potential hotspots
• Work with the client EA and IS teams to develop recommendations and solutions to resolve issues identified
• Define and layout the execution plan for the team
• Be the point-of-contact for all client interactions
• Report progress and represent the team from a technical perspective

 Mandatory Skills:

• 10+ years Java, JEE, EJB, Web Frameworks (Struts, Spring, JSPs, MVC)
• 8+ years WebSphere Application Server
• 8+ years SOA, Web Services
• 8+ years Unix
• 6+ years Analytical and problem-solving skills
• 6+ years Architect of large-scale EAI and web applications
• 6+ years Strong oral and written communications skills
• 6+ years Management of development resources

• PBM knowledge
