Reporting into an Account Manager this newly created role of Sales Associate/Program Manager of our automotive sector will be this position is accountable for supporting the commercial team coordinating and communicating overall customer updates, updating customer plan based on input form the commercial team and and assiting the commerical team in developing and executing an overall customer strategy that is in alignment with market and business unit goals and objectives. The incumbent will communicate with Alcoa organizations/resources in support of commercial team; included are; Marketing, Credit, Metal Management, Legal, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Technical Center, Inside Sales.
Additional Responsibilities
- Management of Customer Satisfaction survey system
- Establish an understanding of each customers products, processes.
- Monitor customer performance for critical metrics including forecast accuracy, payment, inventory, accounts receivable imbalances, and hedge reconciliation.
- Quotation Management
Internal coordination of customer request for quotes
Internal coordination with marketing, plant personnel and engineering
Internal coordination with marketing, plant personnel and engineering
Preparation of quotes to customer
- Management of Growth and Revenue opportunities

Coordination with outside processors and internal technical resources
Quote preparation
Development of support plan, identification of barriers, and resolution strategy with the commercial team
Active monitoring of support plan to ensure milestones are met and, in the case of road blocks, work with team on resolution
Tracking to ensure on-time delivery

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree
- 3 years of sales or program management experience in a manufacturing/technical environment
Preferred Qualifications
In addition to the basic qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in engineering or other technical dicipline
- Direct automotive OEM or tier one supplier work experience
- Experience with aluminum or other metal sales to the automotive industry
- Working knowledge and understanding of the automotive vehicle/product development process including component design, structural analysis, manufacturing process development, and actual component/vehicle manufacturing
