Summary:
Work directly with internal/external clients to support application development, both new and existing systems, and process implementations
Should understand the Mortgage Process and participate in the full implementation lifecycle
Will facilitate and coordinate communication between IT and Business teams
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Effectively communicate with all levels of internal customers
Work closely with team members, as well as independently
Sense of urgency must be demonstrated at all times
Train customers and employees on applications offered.
The creation of training materials, whether acquired or self-authored, and all necessary documentation for training
Effective Project Management and Requirements Gathering Skills
Troubleshoot and assist with issues and resolve when possible
Suggest new processes that will help streamline learning opportunities
Continue learning new technologies
Document reoccurring processes
Effectively communicating back to clients and to appropriate internal teams
Work closely with other members of Information Technology Department to assist with project implementations and other tasks as requested
Coordinate release notes when requested.
Provide a second level of support for all internal and external customers by being familiar with all applications offered Focus on proactive and informative communication
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skill
Active and shares ideas when working with project teams
Ability to work effectively and with minimal direct supervision
Ability to ask questions to extract true requirements
Quality-conscious and Detail-oriented
Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
Job Qualifications:
BS or BA degree in business, marketing, communications or computer science, or equivalent experience recommended
Dedicated to team building, establish and maintenance of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Communicates both verbally and non-verbally and strong technical skills
Experience:
Mid - Senior Level
Demonstrated experience using advanced Microsoft products (work, excel project) features and techniques required
Demonstrated experience in analysis and presentation of data required
Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) Preferred
Experience with Adobe Captivate or similar authoring tool Preferred
1-2 Years Project Management experience is preferred
3 years’ experience technical training or mortgage banking
Mortgage and/or Financial Services industry experience is highly preferred
